Retreat Remembered

At the Pieceful Patchers Quilters retreat of 2006
We laughed, and we sewed and Boy!! Did we Kabitz.
There was cutting and sewing and then quilting galore.
There was eating and talking and gifts and more.
There was sharing fabrics and discussing blends.
And we even had a visit from two of Frosty's friends.
There were classes and crafts, and lots of UFO's.
And sometimes we ripped, but mostly we sewed.
There was a trip to a quilt shop.
And several times to Walmart someone would hop.
Some quilters finished projects and then show and tell.
And others finished projects and you heard a "HALLALUJAH" swell.
But the best part of all, were new friendships made.
And the sharing and guidance master quilters gave.
Yes, ther quilters retreat of 2006.
Will always be a memorable pick
But I can hardly wait till the retreat of 2007.
Because I know it will be a slice of heaven.
